Walking The Dalesway & The Cumbria Way; Yorkshire Dales & Lake District.
We travelled by bus to our starting point Leeds. On the photo the bus is parked in the train that took us through the Channel Tunnel.
The ruins of Bolton Priory.
The mountains in the distance are part of the Lake District.
The sign writes "For those who walked The Dalesway". We couldn't resist to take a rest so we sat down and enjoyed the view towards the Lake District.
This is supposed to be the house where Stan Laurel was born.
